Write an essay explaining what organ donation is and what you feel about it

Many people fear organ donation. They fear that it might damage the body, so that they wont be able to have an open casket funeral, or maybe even that if they do chose to be an organ donor, it may stop doctors from giving every last effort to saving your life and consider donation. Any doctor would tell you that those are just myths. They would also tell you that just about any of the major organs as well as some tissues from the human anatomy could be donated. These major organs include the heart, kidneys, pancreas, lungs, liver, and intestines. These major tissues include cornea, skin, bone marrow, heart valves, and connective tissue. Anybody over eighteen could freely make a decision whether they wish to donate or not. People under eighteen, would need they?re parents or guardians permission. There are no limitations either to donating, it all depends on physical condition. You don?t even have to be a resident to receive or donate an organ. In 2...
