Why Me

I was assigned a mission to keep control of the only river route in Vietnam
that we can have access to. I have been here so many days and nights I can’t stand it. I have so many emotions in me I want to scream, cry and bang my head in the wall in desperation not knowing or understanding exactly what I’m feeling. I’ve learned not to take my life for granted to be happy and grateful with the simple little things that count in life. I am grateful for having a warm bed, food, friends and laughter but most of all my FAMILY. I’m anxious to be with my family and have peace in my heart.
