why i want to transition

The time has finally come to look for new opportunities. Although I love the industry, the tobacco business is under attack and the industry is in retreat. I was hoping that summer and pre-holiday sales would point to a revival, however it doesn’t appear that it will.

As a result I am searching for an opportunity to transition into growth areas such as software, telecommunications or Internet related sales, and would appreciate any assistance you can offer.
I would love a position that would allow me to use my comprehensive sales or management skills.

Twelve years of progressively responsible sales and management positions have prepared me for this transition. I have a proven track record of ramping up quickly and adapting to new concepts and industries. I possess strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships easily with staff and clients.
