Why Acting ?

Working in the Theatre Company production of Camelot was an excellent experience for me. This was my first acting assignment outside of my high school productions. I was working in an atmosphere of professional and friendly people - mostly adults - for the first time. I was both nervous and excited at the same time. I had my first lead role, that of Mordred - King Arthur's evil son. I enjoyed the rehearsals and character work, learning blocking, and learning the songs. I had one solo, and one duet. The director saw my potential and encouraged me. He did whatever he could to help me work through my challenges and improve. He prepared me well for the performances.
