What is a fable?
A fable is a literary form in which a fantastic story is used to express a lesson. Fables are humorous and colorful tales that are easy to read and understand so that moral lessons can be better portrayed to its readers. The characters in a fable are fictional and most of them are animals, gods, or non-living things with human attributes or sometimes, supernatural powers. The plots related to this literary form are commonly based on people's everyday conflicts and situations involving their interaction with society. The most important aspect of a fable is the meaningful message that is portrayed at the end of the story which carries an important moral value.
