Welfare

OPENING Ladies and gentlemen, we're here today to discuss whether or not hard working American's should have to pay for able bodied people to be on welfare. It's obvious that we shouldn't but I'll give the opposing debater a fair argument. My first reason that people should not be on welfare is because able bodied people can make their own decisions and if they make a mistake it shouldn't be at our expense. If we earn our own money then why shouldn't they? It's only fair that we all try at least to earn our own money. We should also get rid of "genetic" welfare. People are starting to think that if they were on welfare as a child then they can't get off of it as they grow up. People shouldn't think like that. They need to keep trying to rise out of poverty and achieve more to experience life more fully. Second argument My second reason for keeping people off welfare is has to do with teenagers.
