1. Never really enjoyed the job. His expectations of what to expect was not close to what his experience was.
2. His philosophy was, "They hired me to enforce the rules and I am going to enforce them."
3. He was frustrated at times by his feelings that there were no real punishments that the kids knew would be handed down for bad behavior.
4. Was really good at a one-on-one level with the kids. I witnessed several occasions where what came out of his mouth really impressed me. His philosophy and understanding of the issue and how he communicated would sometimes blow me away.
5. He did have a temper. His good advice was sometimes followed by real anger when he perceived the kids not following through with what he had asked of them.
6. He would pull pranks. I never witnessed him do anything mean, but the occasional shaving cream or toothpaste in the hair happened a few times.
7. He would curse occasionally. Brent would be better to ask, but I asked him on one occasio...
