Watergate

Watergate
When a younger generation of kids think of Watergate they do not completely understand what happened and why it happened. They listen to their parents and what other people tell them about what happened in the 1970’s, but only a few actual take the time out to do some research and determine the true significance of Watergate. As a child begins to do research on the matter they rediscover the American society, the media, and the nation's system of government, and specifically the executive branch, in the early 1970s. When a child concludes their research they are able to examine the past thirty years, and determine if there was any lasting affects or lessons that have persisted in out culture, government, or society.
