1. What do we learn about Mark's family?
Mark and Elena don't spend much time with them. The last time they were there was 6 months ago. Mark is not very close with any of his family. When he was there last he and his dad has a discussion and Mark felt that he wasn't ready to confront his father again to talk about it. He did not even call his brother and one of his sisters to tell them that he was back and had been in hospital so that proves that he isn't very close to them.
