Throughout high school as adolescents we form are characters and define who we are. Music having one of the strongest influences on adolescents today makes it relatively easy to classify teens. Although people listen to many different types of music and have many different types of personalities there are three common themes that most to all adolescents fall into. There is three genres persistent among teens today; Hip hop, pop, and alternative. With the overwhelming desire to be different, popular, or trendy and the evolution of MTV, the influence of ones music upon their character is very prevalent.
The Influence of hip hop amongst its listeners is probably the most prevalent. The genre of rap music tends to precede a selected amount of people.
