The Lesson
In Toni Cade Bambara’s Short story “The Lesson” ther are many conflict with character and with society. The story takes place in a big city and revolves around young black kids that live in poverty and do not receive the best education. Their babysitter during the summer is an older lady that lives down the street but is not cared for by the kids. The first conflict in the story is character vs. character.
