The Yellow Wallpaper

Charlotte Perkins Gillman said she wrote “The Yellow Wallpaper” to reveal the dangers of treating a woman with the same therapy given to man. She held this opinion as a result of an upgrade from being mildly depressed to mentally unstable. This happened because of the rest treatment she was given.
