The Vision of Krishna’s Totality

In the teaching “The Vision of Krishna’s Totality,” the Hindu god Krishna reveals himself to Arjuna, a warrior. Krishna, an incarnation of the god Vishnu, explains himself through eloquent words and visions. He displays himself as a supreme god, a god of discipline and a god who advocates the way of devotion.
Throughout the passage, Vishnu is referred to as the supreme god, god of gods, and ruler of all. In stanza three, Arjuna addresses him as the “supreme among men,” and in stanza forty-three, Arjuna describes Vishnu’s vast powers.
