The United States Goverement

There are three main branches that make up our government they are the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches. Each of these branches has a different process and function but all work together to develop the laws and government that sculpt our lives.
The law making part of our government or better known as the Legislative Branch includes the two chambers of Congress, which are the Senate and The House Of Representatives. This branch passes bills that become laws if they are signed by the president. These laws are then handed over to be reviewed by the Supreme Court. This branch also has the power to set tax rates, over see government spending, print and borrow money, etc. However these powers are exercised within a system of checks and balances that does exactly like is says balances the three branches out.
