Jesus of Nazareth was executed in the year AD 30 by Pilates
“When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him”(John 18:12-19:16)
The first Christians were Jewish people who believed that Jesus was the Messiah. The Christians in the first and second century were people who were persecuted for what they believed in. When the Emperor Constantine was converted to Christianity he changed the laws to make it legal for Christians to practice what they believed.
