The Power of Place

The environment surrounding you, which reflects the years of painstaking care from your parents, gives you your feelings, directions, and inner self. Genetics, on the other hand, gives you only external similarities to your parents. The Power of Place, Winifred Gallagher states that, "nature and nurture cooperate in producing behavior.” The scientists, however, made an incorrect assessment of causes of behavior, for in my experiences, nature has never influenced my behavior.
