The Nuba Tribe of Africa

The Nuba Tribe
Two men in a desert wrestle holding brass bracelets as a crowd watches closely. Suddenly, one cuts the other’s neck with the bracelet. The referees then separate the fighters, and the women come forward to treat the wound. This is an example of a typical wrestling match of the Nuba tribe. The Nubas are an interesting people who are important to Africa.
The Nubas are found in Northern Sudan, along the Nile River in the Nubian Desert and Nuba Mountains. This area is approximately 15 degrees North latitude and 33 degrees East longitude.
The Nuba Tribe lives in a few different regions. One of these regions is around the Nile River, a river that flows through Africa and is shared by the Sudan with several other countries. They also live in the Nubian Desert, which extends into lower Egypt.
The culture of the Nuba tribe is interesting. The Nubas live in huts, which blend into the surrounding land, built with whatever materials are available to us...
