The Most Dangerous Game

“The Most Dangerous Game,” by Richard Connell, is indeed “good literature.” Whether a piece of writing is “good” or “bad,” in “literature” standards, is a personal preference. Just because a piece of writing is not complex, or deeply layered, or easy to understand, does not mean it’s bad literature. In my opinion “The Most Dangerous Game” is good literature because it is well written, interesting, captivating, and enjoyable.
The setting of the short story is in a couple different locations. The story begins in the Caribbean Sea on a yacht, but most of the action takes place on Ship Trap Island.
