The Little Hero

A very long time ago, during the medieval period, there lived a kingdom full of knights seeking to be the greatest of all. Once each month, the well-known, devious Black Knight would blaze into the kingdom atop his trusty black steed and challenge anyone with the nerve to a duel. The rules were simple: the first knight to fall off his horse would lose. Many knights trained day in and day out in order to reach a skill level high enough to beat the Black Knight, but no one could ever hit him off his horse.

One certain knight who always dressed in white trained twice each day, telling himself, “I will become strong enough to beat the Black Knight someday, and once deemed the winner I will be called the White Knight - the most skilled and most noble in the land!” He swore to himself that he would reach his goal, and it was all he thought about throughout his days.
