The life of a rain drop

This time last year I was sitting in a captivating geography class with about 100 other water droplets, I’m not sure what Mr West was saying – something about writing a creative story about the life cycle of a human being but I could hardly concentrate because I felt too hot. It was then that I realised that we were near the surface. There were three things that my mum had taught me; don’t talk to strange droplets, never go out without lots of other water droplets because I was very light and could float away and under no circumstances should I ever go near the surface because I might be evaporated and never return to our lake.
It began to happen I was evaporated out of the water, thrown away from all my friends and my innards were sucked out of me. As I floated up I began to feel cooler and I noticed that I was surrounded by white…… was I dead? No! I then realised that I had found my way into a cloud where I felt so cool that my insides returned and I felt more like me...
