The Fate of Two Lovers

Romeo and Juliet were madly in love. Unfortunately, they ignored their fate because of that love. Their minds were only set on the ‘here and now’, and they didn’t care to look at what the future held or take note of the advice given them. Any of the characters in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet could be used as a scapegoat for the two lovers deaths. However, if you look carefully, you’ll see that fate is most responsible, because it was the only thing powerful enough to overcome the efforts of characters to fix the problems in the story.
My aim is not to make you believe that the characters were complete victims, in contrast to what the quote said. They were warned on several occasions, especially Romeo, who received three warnings on separate occasions. For instance, Friar Lawrence told Romeo to slow down and to “not take love to the grave”…
