You test every single student across America and you get the best results of how each one is doing. But when a group examined the test they found over 90% of the test examined had questions relating to a students opinions , attitudes and hypothetical situations and just 30 relating to math and 30 to verbal testing. Now does this kind of test REALLY test a students knowledge? Thats the same question many people have to ask themselves when they look at test questions. Many tests ask questions that are exetremly lacking in any importance. One such question asked to fifth grade students for a science portion of the test was " In which job would finger printing be best used" option a was police work to help catch criminals, window washers to help clean windows, auto mechanic to help run cars or teachers to help teach kids multiplication.
