The Communication Process

The art of communication is easy to learn but can be difficult to master. Communication at its most basic involves two categories. The first is the sender of the information, or the source. The second category is the party intended to receive this information, also known as the receiver. This paper will attempt to explain the difference between the two and how the process works.
Communication begins when someone wishes to impart information to another person or group of people. That person, the source first must decide how to develop his or her idea into communicable data that they feel the intended recipients will understand. The source of information must have the ability to impart this knowledge in a logical manner or risk not being understood properly.
The source of this information must now decide how to send this information to the receiver. Some information may require lengthy documentation, such as explaining how a complex operation is accomplished. The raising of...
