Teachers I have known

I have been in school for almost twelve years now and I know what makes a good teacher and what makes a bad teacher. Teachers have it tough if they do not know what they are doing. Teachers in today’s world are constantly being tested to see if they are teaching what they are supposed to teach. Knowing all they need to know for the subject they teach is not what makes a good teacher. A good teacher should challenge her students, love to teach, and be involved in extracurricular activities.
I do not learn well in class if I am not challenged. A good teacher should teach me things that make me think, instead of reviewing the same information one hundred times. The teacher should also understand what he or she is teaching so the students and teacher can challenge each other. If a student and teacher challenge each other the students benefit.
