Morte D'Arthur

“Morte d’Arthur” was a part of an epic written by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. This world-famous epic includes many symbols relating to and alluding to the Bible. Those symbols reflect different religious aspects of the epic. There is a hidden message in this epic, and it is about religion. The hidden message is really an idea that God controls our lives and that that’s the way it is. Those symbols show that this epic is truly written about Jesus Christ, and that King Arthur plays the role of this famous man.
The story begins on Christmas Eve, while a couple of men are talking about the lack of religion in those days. They are sitting at a table and having this discussion, which really is just an introduction to the epical story of King Arthur. Line 7, on page 894, refers to exactly this with the following words, “How all the old honor had from Christmas gone…” The first obvious symbol of the passage is seen on page 896 in lines 64-69 and 71-74.
