What are the superstitions in China?
There are lots of superstitions in China. Most of them are connected with souls or customs. Foreigners may feel amazed at those superstitions, but ordinary people in china are sensitive to those certain things.
For example, some Chinese may shiver when hearing the crying of an owl. Do you know the reason? In fact, it is handed down from ancient Chinese. Early people thought owls are the ominous animals and would even eat children after counting how many eyebrows kids have. Therefore most of ancient Chinese said that there would be someone in your family dead in a few days after hearing the crying of an owl. This concept has been retained until now.
