1. Why are Americans so interested in meeting aliens from outer space and so suspicious, if not intolerant, of humans from different social, economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds?


Human nature dictates that we are curious about things or people we don’t know anything about. For example aliens, we don’t even know if they exist, furthermore we do not have any experience or examples of their behavior whether it is good or bad. So we cannot base a informed decision on them and until then we will continue to search for signs that we are not alone in this galaxy.
