ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) of Washington.

Introduction

The American Civil Liberties Union is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, membership organization devoted to protecting the basic civil liberties of all Americans, and extending them to groups that have traditionally been denied their basic civil rights. It had been founded in 1920 and is the leader in providing equal opportunities for basic civil rights to all irrespective of their background, race, gender etc.

One of the branches of this organization is based here, in Seattle. It has a total staff of 16 people including legal and legislative members. Together they work towards the betterment of people by providing them with equal opportunities.
