1. Describe your thoughts on the following statement: “Communication in the
workplace can be a ‘matter of life or death.’”
- I feel that it depends on where you work if that statement applies. I know that in working in the grocery store that it is not applicable to me. However, if you work with heavy equipment or machinery it is. If you don’t hear something the right way it could cause the machinery or equipment to do something completely not ordinary. Also if you are in any armed force that if you are on the front line and you don’t hear the full or correct command you could kill yourself and the rest of the people that are on the front line with you.
