Smoking and the US Govt

Senator Scott De Santis:

Smoking is the cause of 400,000 deaths in the US each year. In my state (Connecticut) our population is 3,425,074 people but if smoking wasn’t an issue, than our population would significantly larger. Smoking greatly increases the chances of getting lung cancer and many other cancers. Cigarettes contain at least 43 cancer-causing chemicals. I propose a bill to be passed in order to shorten the amount of people who die of smoking each year. The way my bill works is this; for every two smoking ads in any magazine, there must be at least one ad that is against smoking. With this bill, it will allow more people in the nation to see just what smoking does to you. Very rarely people see an ad that is against smoking. There are hundreds of ads ...
