“Smoke Signals”

On Thursday, April 3, 2003 I attended a lecture by a man named Sherman Alexie. He is a liberal native american Spokane/Coeur d’Alene indian and has a family.
Sherman Alexie is a author, poet, and screenwriter. I think he’s famous for an award -winning film called “Smoke Signals and has published several books such as “Reservation Blues and Indian Killer,“ and “The Toughest Indian in the World“. His lecture was in Lipinsky Auditorium and he looked like a regular good ole’ fashion guy on stage.
