1a. To start off, Deloris Van Catiá, or shall I say Sister Mary Clarence had the same upbringing as the kids that she would soon be teaching (as seen on the movie Sister Act 1). Not knowing how to handle the challenging situations of babysitting adolescents, she reverted to the only way she knew how. Singing. Sister Mary Clarence made a statement telling the class that it would no longer be a “bird course” and that if they did not work hard then they would fail the course. She made the students abide by the dress code by taking off all hats and glasses and any other accessories that the school did not allow. With that in mind, with respect that she gave the class, in return she received it.
