Some experiences are of particular significance in our lives. Literature offers many examples of the ways in which a particular experience has significant impact on an individual’s life. An event experienced by many individuals is war. As long as humans exist, there will be war. War can be horrific, like a bad nightmare, can easily break the human spirit, which is not at all fragile.
