Decisions on what to be broadcasted on television are mainly decided by the news editor. In the deciding process, there are several significant reasons for why an editor is motivated to broadcast specific visions. The editor’s criteria for broadcasting an issue may consider how much rating the television network will gain, how entertaining it is, the logistical considerations, themes, setting public agenda and etc. These criteria are evident the comedy series of Frontline and the series displays how a current affair program operates.
