Servant leadership

A. Central Idea: This article explains what leadership qualities are necessary for an individual to become an efficient conductor. The most essential of these qualities is the idea that the conductor (as well as any other person in a leadership position) is required to play the role of the Servant-Leader, meaning that anyone who intends on being a effective leader must have the ability to serve, and from his/her serving on can become a better leader.
B. Summary: The article is basically a music teacher’s/conductor’s guide on how to become more influential in the classroom, and how that with effective teaching, the entire experience becomes more enjoyable for the students as well.
