September 11th

If there is a single event that has left the deepest effect on me recently it is undoubtedly the events of September 11th. The day the towers came crumbling down because of the inhumane acts of terrorists was the day I was overcome by a deep sense of anger and anxiety. Until this day I could not believe the utter extent of human beings sacrificed for reasons that I have not yet come to understand fully. Terrorism, in my opinion, is the most immoral act that humans can perpetrate. There is nothing more evil than killing innocent men, women and children.
The events of September 11th, has embedded a deep sense of confusion and concern. Firstly, being an American of Islamic faith, I was concerned that this tragic event would foster an ill feeling against Arabs and Muslims throughout the world.
