Scarlet Letter

Sin is an inevitable part of life that often leads to one’s downfall. In The Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthorn one major theme is the inevitability to hide sin. Two of the main characters, Hester Prynne and Reverend Arthur Dimmesdale, unsuccessfully try to terminate the presence of sin in their life.
