Resource-Based View (RBV)

The rapidity is remarkable whereupon the changes of the surroundings have been appeared, and what lacks; the competitors, the markets and the technology pass over the companies and their strategies, many of the times, moving to rates totally different from which the companies are able to assimilate and much less to react with opportunity. Unlike such affirmations, the traditional strategic models, as the model of the 5 forces of Porter, is centered in the external competitive atmosphere of the companies, many of these models do not investigate towards the interior; on the other hand the RBV emphasizes of remarkable way the necessity to fit the contexts internal (what it does well) and external (what the markets demand and what the competitors present/display) with the resources (Tangible, Intangible and Capacities).
