Recovery Rates
INTRO:

The human body is much like a machine, the more fine tuned it is the more efficiently it works. Things that can effect how well the body works to regain a state of homeostasis may include whether or not a person is a smoker, male or female, exercises regularly, if they have asthma, and whether or not they have a medical history. Taking a persons heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and their mean arterial pressure (MAP), at rest then comparing it to their numbers after exercising, you can monitor them to see how long it takes to return to a restful state in each one of these. The time it takes each subject to reach their state of rest is dependent on the conditions mentioned above. Males which are general more physically fit should have shorter recovery times.
