Recently the issue of poverty has arisen in the media, when workplace relations minister,
Tony Abbott stated, “No government can end poverty”. Tony Abbott stated this about the issue because, he believes that people becoming poor is their own fault, and mostly there’s not a darn thing that governments can do to help them.

Poor people are to blame for their own poverty because, I really think you must not rely on others to support you in any way. You need to know how to take care of yourself and know what’s right to do and not to do in life. Of course we all know that, the government can offer you the dole, but you can’t live on forever relying on just the money the government gives you. They are many jobs people can do, many different job may offer different pay, so jobs may pay you very good as to other jobs, which might be poorly paid. I know that looking for a job may be difficult but everyone needs to continue looking for it, you can’t just give up.
