PICNIC

We embarked on our annual picnic organized by the MSSI, Chennai chapter on the penultimate Saturday of 2002. The original plan was for a majority of us to congregate at a common place like the Tidel Park at the outskirts of the city. But being lazy bums most of us sought Ann aunt’s place as a convenient meeting spot.

There we were kept waiting by the travel agency who kept up its ‘Indian punctuality’. The little girl Ruth instantly became the cynosure of all present.
