Arbor Day!
Most holidays remind us of past events, but Arbor Day looks toward the future. Arbor Day is not just a normal holiday it’s a very important holiday. Arbor Day has become a huge part of this world since 1872. Arbor Day has a very large detailed history. I am going to tell you all about the wonderful holiday of Arbor Day and its history.
Nebraska has given many things to the world, but nothing better than Arbor Day. The idea originally came from Nebraska. A visit to Nebraska today wouldn’t show that the state was once a treeless plain. It was simply the lack of trees that led to the founding of Arbor Day. The first Arbor Day was celebrated on April 10, 1872. It was Julius Sterling Morton that introduced the wonderful idea of Arbor Day.
