Personal Statement to Notre Dame

When I reported to football camp as an incoming freshman, I was not really sure what to expect. It was the first time I would play organized football, and I had been looking forward to this day for as long as I could remember. Would my dreams live up to reality? Knowing that I was about to meet my teammates and new classmates for the first time made me a little nervous. In spite of my anxiety, I was very excited to finally start participating in the sport I had always enjoyed watching and playing with neighborhood kids. As I look back, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment, a feeling of having come a long way in a relatively short period of time.
