Personal Response to Emily Dickinson’s “The Brain...†This poem may be summarized very simple, so I think. The author is letting us know here that the brain is a main issue in our lives. Ms. Dickinson is implying how the brain has a “wider†and “deeper†depth than one cannot even begin to imagine. God has given us a brain to make us think and weigh things as we go through life.
