peer pressure

I have that the biggest problem facing young people today is peer pressure. Most teens when asked if they have ever been pressured to do something they would not have normally done will say, “No, not me, never happened.” However if you say have you ever been at a party or been around people drinking and then thought to yourself “ one beer might not hurt anything?” After an hour passes and they’re working on their 5th drink they might reconsider the question but still might say that pure pressure didn’t play a role in the decisions made. They might feel that because no one offered them the beer that it wouldn’t be considered pure pressure but the reality is that it’s still pure pressure, because of the situation and circumstances. Just because someone isn’t offering you something doesn’t mean that you aren’t giving into pure pressure.
