Gandhi, also known as Mahatma Gandhi was both a simple and a complex man. His actions and beliefs not only shaped India’s history but also showed the world a new weapon that was very powerful and used to fight against injustice. His powerful new weapon was civil disobedience, which was refusing to obey laws considered unjust. Mahatma Gandhi’s nonviolence protests were his way of getting people’s attention to what he thought was unjust.
