Analysis of a Poem:
Ozymandias

This is an excellent piece of writing, with a very true moral which is that “power is ephemeral, and if you spend your whole life seeking it, it will leave you with absolutely nothing”. That is what the lonely and broken statue represents. This king, Ozymandias had search for power all his life, and all that is left of him and his once empire is a broken statue in the middle of a desert. Instead, the artist who made the statue out of a piece of rock has left something in earth for what he will be remembered forever...
