Othello

The play Othello portrays how love can be betrayed with the cause of sexual jealousy and lack of trust. Especially from a person who is affluent, intelligent and has a good reputation, will definitely not accept his partner betraying him to make him lose that reputation he had.
At the beginning of the play, Othello explains how he and Desdemona fell in love when Brabantio rose against Othello saying that he seduced his daughter, Desdemona, using charms and spells because of Iagos’ convincing. Othello: “She loved me for the dangers that I had passed, and I loved her that she did pity them.” In this particular scene, it also shows how Desdemona did love Othello because she pledges her love for him. Desdemona: “That I did love the Moor to live with him, my downright violence and storm of fortunes…..
