Osmosis is when you have a region of high concentration to low concentration of water through a semi permeable membrane. Osmosis can occur in plant cells human cells and animal cells. Famous words often used in osmosis coursework are plasmolysed, turgid hyper tonic, isotonic and hype tonic.
