Older and Wiser

At one point or another in one’s life we are faced with the challenge of

making important decisions, some of these decisions may have a profound impact on the

rest of our lives. This past May I made what I consider the greatest decision of my life

when I decided to go back to school and further my education. I decided to attend college

to prepare for a rewarding career, be able to provide for a family, and to improve my

writing abilities.

The most important reason I decided to attend Middlesex County College

is to prepare for a rewarding career, which neither of my parents have because of their

lack of college educations. This first hand experience of a life without a rewarding career

has made me understand the importance of attending college to work towards a
